• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program.
• Practical Nurse License (Georgia) required at hire.

Responsabilidades

• Monitors electronic messaging related to patient and provider requests within scope of practice and as delegated by RN.
• Determines appropriateness and acuity of needs based on messaging content and initiates follow-up telephone contact.
• Directs messages and transfers calls if outside of scope of practice to RN for management and resolution.
• Determines patient education needs and provides health teaching and counseling.
• Accurately documents patient data according to guidelines.
• Participates in quality improvement activities or initiatives.
• Advocates for the patient.
• Completes department procedures and nursing care within scope and skill.
• Maintains privacy and confidentiality; adheres to policies, ethics and laws.
