Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Virtual Support Specialist to assist patients with consent, screening, and virtual visits, while coordinating registrations and ensuring smooth telehealth experiences.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting connections, supporting providers, and scheduling in Capstone, Cerner, and Soarian platforms. Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service in healthcare are essential.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
3 years of experience in healthcare or related field providing customer service or patient care support.
Medical Assistant Program completion or Military Training accepted.
Ability to learn and use Capstone, Cerner, Soarian and virtual health platforms.

Responsibilities

Review records and assist with patient consent, initial screening, and virtual health visits.
Prepare and maintain registration information.
Troubleshoot and assist patients to ensure successful virtual connections.
Provide support to providers and assigned clinics.
Recognize urgent situations and implement appropriate procedures.
Communicate pertinent information for upcoming visits.
Meet productivity standards using assigned resources and protocols.
Provide technical support to patients and caregivers using computers and mobile devices.
Assist with downloading and navigating the virtual health client and virtual care services.
Modify and schedule virtual care appointments in Capstone.
Assess situations and provide appropriate technical and process solutions.
Resolve caller inquiries according to department protocols; escalate when appropriate.
Follow up on messages through satisfactory completion or escalation.
Make outbound calls to offer proactive technical support.
Develop understanding of policies and exercise judgment outside standard protocols.
