Job summary

Core Bank in Omaha, NE is seeking a Universal Banker to provide a friendly, knowledgeable banking experience by answering calls and emails and guiding customers through account maintenance, products, and services.

You will open/close accounts, build relationships, and promote online banking tools while upholding the bank's service standards. On-site role requiring strong customer service and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous banking experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong customer service, communication and problem solving skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Knowledge of telephone and business etiquette.
• Basic PC operation - understanding of Microsoft Office and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and emails professionally with a customer-obsessed attitude.
• Operate and properly handle customer inquiries through an Interactive Teller Machine (ITM).
• Opening, closing and performing maintenance on accounts.
• Building relationships with customers by identifying needs and offering solutions.
• Provide information or referrals about bank products and services.
• Participate in training and development programs.
• Uphold the Bank's image with a professional presence.
• Comply with all applicable policies, laws, and regulations.
