Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• Certified teacher of Computer Science.

• Prior AP tutoring/teaching experience preferred.

• Patience and commitment to equity and culturally responsive practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality AP CS tutoring in a virtual one-on-one setting.
• Personalize instruction using assessments and progress data.
• Build supportive relationships to motivate students and foster confidence.
• Cover topics including Java or Python, algorithms, data structures, and AP CS content.
• Support exam preparation, coding projects, and real-world problems.
• Collaborate with educators and families to align tutoring with course requirements.
