Job summary

Compass Health Center, Llc is seeking a licensed psychologist or master’s level therapist to lead group therapy programs. You will facilitate CBT and DBT-based group sessions, perform intakes, and provide individual case management as needed, ensuring crisis management and collaborative care with the treatment team.

The role emphasizes developing group materials, maintaining treatment plans, and documenting in EMR while delivering high-quality behavioral health care across PHP/IOP programs.

Qualifications

• Must have experience conducting intakes, individual therapy, and group therapy.
• Knowledge of CBT and DBT and other evidence-based therapies.
• Experience with patients in crisis.
• Experience in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient or residential settings.

What You’ll Do:

• Providing group therapy to patients in a safe and therapeutic milieu
• Developing effective therapeutic group relationships that promote positive change in patients
• Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as other evidenced-based therapies
• Relaying relevant clinical information to treatment team during daily rounds and as needed
• Developing program material and adjusting group therapy content, as needed, to fit group needs
• Engaging in crisis management, as needed
• Creating and updating treatment plans
• Charting in our electronic medical records system
• This position may also include meeting with patients individually for case management

Who You Are:

• Are a Psychologist or Master’s level therapist with clinical experience conducting intakes, individual therapy, and group therapy
• Have knowledge and experience of group dynamics utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as other evidenced-based therapies
• Have experience with patients in crisis
• Have prior experience working in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient hospital, or residential setting
