The candidate will manage inventories, assist with molecular biology techniques, cell culture, and data records, while coordinating safety training and onboarding for new staff and students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture and basic molecular biology techniques.
• Knowledge of biosafety and Environmental Health & Safety requirements.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general laboratory organization, workflows and efficient daily operations.
• Manage purchasing, vendor interactions, supply ordering and inventory control.
• Prepare, maintain and catalog biological inventories (viral stocks, plasmid DNA, cell lines, archives).
• Oversee shared equipment scheduling, maintenance, calibration and basic troubleshooting.
• Coordinate onboarding, orientation and safety training for new personnel.
