Gilead Sciences Inc. is seeking a Director of Biostatistics to provide statistical leadership for late-phase Virology programs, guiding design, analysis, interpretation, and communication of trial results.

The role partners with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality contributions for development, regulatory submissions, and evidence generation. The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise, scientific judgment, and clear communication to help advance innovative therapies

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years with master’s degree.
• 8 years with PhD.

Responsibilities

• Provide statistical leadership for late-phase Virology programs and contribute to study design and data interpretation.
• Represent Biostatistics on cross-functional teams and support interactions with Health Authorities as needed.
• Collaborate with Clinical Development, Data Management, Medical Writing, Regulatory Affairs, and CROs to ensure timely, high-quality analyses and regulatory submissions.
• Apply statistical methods to study design, protocol development, and regulatory documentation preparation.
• Lead statistical activities across studies, ensure quality design, analysis planning and data review for regulatory documentation.
