Job summary

New Virginia Majority in Virginia is seeking a Regional Field Director to lead paid voter outreach efforts, recruit and manage a field team, and drive annual outreach goals. You will report to the Statewide Field Director and Political Director, ensuring data quality and timely reporting.

The role requires organization, self-motivation, and alignment with NVM values, with travel across the region and full-time benefits including health coverage and allowances.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing a successful field team.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, and related software.
• Ability to work irregular/long hours at peak times.
• Ability to meet goals on deadline.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Alignment with NVM’s ideology and goals.

Responsibilities

• The RFD is responsible for recruiting, training and managing a team of leads and canvassers with the intention to meet yearly voter outreach goals.
• RFD’s must maintain consistent reporting and quality data stewardship, in addition to implementing quality control practices in their regional programs.
• Administrative duties, including managing schedules and employee time, are required.
• RFD’s are responsible for promoting leadership, alignment with NVM’s values, and maintaining an overall positive, professional staff culture.
