Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group in Virginia Beach is seeking an Attorney to join its growing team. The role focuses on litigation for creditors' rights with no billable hour requirements and strong salary potential through settlements.

You will receive comprehensive training and the autonomy to manage your own caseload alongside an experienced team. Ideal candidates will handle matters from inception to resolution, draft filings, and negotiate settlements while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Active law license in the state of Virginia.
• Ability to analyze cases and negotiate effective settlements.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation practices and courtroom procedures.
• Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage a high-volume caseload.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms.
• Self-motivated professional capable of working independently while collaborating with colleagues.
• Strong analytical abilities, sound judgment and client-service focus.
• High level of professionalism, integrity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Handle litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
• 2/3 days on-site, primarily signing
• Negotiate settlements and work toward efficient resolution of disputed matters.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances throughout your assigned territory (travel expenses reimbursed).
• Partner with internal staff, clients, and opposing counsel to move cases forward effectively and professionally.
• Maintain accurate case records and manage deadlines across multiple matters.
