Job summary

Dartmouth Health’s VIR Technologists perform specialized vascular and interventional radiographic procedures to support complex cardiovascular cases. You will work closely with physicians and interventional teams in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

The role requires collaboration across a high-acuity team, and involves off-hours call rotations at a Level I Trauma Center. A full-time schedule with a weekend call cadence is typical, with a competitive sign-on incentive for external hires.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• One year of experience required.
• Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures for cardiovascular studies and prepare patients for procedures.
• Monitor patients and perform digital subtraction on images.
• Set up and maintain physiological data recorder, ECG monitor, oximetry, and other equipment.
• Coordinate daily work schedule with radiologist and respond to emergencies.
• Teach cardiovascular equipment use to staff and train with IV team.
• Perform other duties as required.
