Job summary

The Monarch Hotel in New Orleans is seeking a friendly and energetic Runner/Busser to support servers by clearing, resetting tables, and delivering food and beverages. You will help maintain a seamless guest experience in a fast-paced dining environment.

Candidates should have at least one year of experience in a contemporary dining setting, be at least 21, and be able to stand for long shifts. This position requires excellent communication, a polished appearance, and a proactive, guest-focused

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in high-end, service-focused environment.
• ANSI approved Food Handler Card and Responsible Beverage Service certificate may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a seamless guest experience
• Ensure food is delivered quickly and correctly
• Clean and reset tables, refill water, and re-stock glassware
• Performs opening, running, and closing side work
• Must have an exceptional personality and hospitality driven attitude
• Must be polished, professional, friendly, dynamic and able to multitask
• Must be a highly organized individual with the ability to handle numerous tasks at a time
• Able to take initiative in a VIP driven and guest service focused environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Maintains a "sense of urgency" attitude for the completion of responsibilities/tasks
