Job summary

PKF South Africa seeks a payroll administrator in Linden, NJ to process salaries, issue payslips, and prepare payroll reports for clients using VIP Payroll and MS Office. You will ensure accuracy, maintain confidentiality, and support year-end processes.

The role requires Grade 12, payroll experience, VIP Payroll proficiency, and good tax knowledge. You will work with clients, handle electronic transfers, payroll reconciliations, and contribute to SOQM compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll administration and client service.
• VIP Payroll proficiency and proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong numerical and tax knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Processing of salaries and wages
• Providing employees with sealed payslips
• Generating detailed payroll reports for clients
• Preparing electronic transfer files for the net salaries of employees
• Completion and submission of EMP201 and EMP501 returns.
• Assisting clients with tax queries as far as employee tax is concerned
• Submit UI19 declarations on a monthly basis
• Workmen's Compensation and RMA returns
• Advising clients on salary restructuring as and when needed
• Advising clients on employee fringe benefits
• Any other reasonable ad hoc duties as and when required by management
• Compliance with the firm’s System of Quality Management (SOQM), policies and procedures.
• Compliance with the firm’s Employee Code of Conduct which consists of the firm’s HR policies, SAICA, IRBA, and IESBA Codes of Conduct.
