Job summary

Live! Hospitality & Entertainment in Kansas City seeks a VIP Server to deliver high-energy, guest-focused service in a dynamic nightlife environment.

You will greet guests, take beverage and food orders, upsell where appropriate, and coordinate with bartenders and kitchen staff to ensure accurate, timely service and guest satisfaction. The role requires at least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced venue, fluent English, excellent communication, courteous demeanor, and alcohol-awareness

Qualifications

• Greet guests and take beverage and food orders promptly and professionally.
• Serve cocktails and menu items; upsell when taking orders.
• Maintain energy and professionalism while delivering outstanding service with a smile.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and kitchen staff using the POS system.
• Identify guests’ ages to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
• Handle cash and card payments accurately; complete side work as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take beverage and food orders promptly and professionally.
• Serve cocktails and/or menu items; upsell when taking orders.
