Job summary

Thom Browne, Inc. is seeking a VIP Manager to drive global VIP strategy, secure high-profile placements, and strengthen the brand's cultural relevance.

You will partner with senior leadership, celebrity stylists, and influencers to deliver strategic outreach, manage relationships, and execute VIP events across red carpet and media opportunities, in collaboration with PR/Communications and Marketing teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in VIP relations, PR, or luxury fashion.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Established relationships with celebrity stylists, talent representatives, publicists, and entertainment contacts.
• Proven track record securing high-impact VIP placements.
• Experience with influencer strategy is preferred; broader influencer marketing is a plus.
• Strong understanding of luxury fashion, media, digital platforms, and cultural trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-management, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills with ability to manage multiple opportunities.

MISSION

The VIP Manager is responsible for supporting the development and execution of Thom Browne’s global VIP strategy, driving brand awareness and cultural relevance through impactful celebrity dressing, strategic relationship management, organic influencer engagement, and proactive VIP placements.

THE ROLE

• Partner with the Senior Director, VIP to develop and execute global VIP strategies aligned with brand and business objectives.
• Build, maintain, and expand strong relationships with celebrity stylists, talent, agents, publicists, and other key industry partners.
• Drive celebrity dressing and VIP placements across red carpet, press, entertainment, and cultural opportunities.
• Proactively identify established and emerging talent who authentically align with Thom Browne and cultivate long-term relationships with them and their teams.
• Develop proactive outreach strategies around key brand moments, seasonal collections, awards, premieres, festivals, cultural events, and other relevant opportunities.
• Manage VIP opportunities from initial outreach and product selection through fittings, alterations, logistics, dressing, and post-event follow-up.
• Lead organic influencer relationship development and product placement within the VIP function, identifying relevant cultural voices and creators who align authentically with the brand.
• Partner closely with PR/Communications and Marketing on broader influencer strategy, talent identification, and brand alignment.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen Thom Browne’s cultural visibility through proactive relationship building, gifting, special projects, appearances, and strategic partnerships.
• Collaborate closely with Press, Digital, Marketing, Events, Design, Merchandising, Sales, and regional teams to ensure alignment around key brand initiatives and messaging.
• Collaborate closely with members of the VIP team, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members and contributing to a supportive, high-performing team environment.
• Partner with the broader VIP team to ensure seamless execution of VIP operations, including sample management, fittings, alterations, logistics, gifting, and related day-to-day needs.
• Support VIP gifting initiatives, events, special projects, and celebrity appearances from strategy through execution.
• Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of VIP placements, social media impact, earned media value, and relevant performance metrics.
• Partner with Digital and Communications teams on VIP-related content opportunities and storytelling initiatives.
• Prepare VIP recaps, presentations, competitive analyses, talent recommendations, and strategic updates for leadership.

SKILLS

• 5+ years of experience in VIP Relations, PR, Communications, or a closely related role within luxury fashion.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Fashion, or a related field.
• Established and active relationships with leading celebrity stylists, talent representatives, publicists, and entertainment industry contacts, with a demonstrated ability to cultivate new relationships.
• Demonstrated experience securing and managing high-impact celebrity dressing and VIP placements.
• Strong understanding of the celebrity and stylist landscape, with an instinct for identifying both established and emerging talent relevant to the brand.
• Experience with organic influencer strategy, talent cultivation, and relationship development strongly preferred; broader influencer marketing experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of luxury fashion, entertainment, media, digital platforms, social media, and evolving cultural trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-management, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority opportunities simultaneously.
• Experience with Fashion GPS, Launchmetrics, or similar industry platforms strongly preferred.
• Strong reporting capabilities with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, and operational processes.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU

• Salary Range is $115,000 - $130,000 + target bonus. Please note that compensation will be offered based on relevant skills and experience.
