Job summary

RodeoHouston is seeking a Hospitality Intern to support premium hospitality operations within an elevated VIP club environment. You will act as an on-site concierge, coordinating food and beverage service, assisting bartenders and service staff, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

The internship runs Feb 15, 2027 through Mar 21, 2027, with duties including pre-event prep, staff coordination, guest recovery, and liaison with concessionaire and security teams.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Preferred: studies in hospitality, event management or related field.
• Experience in live events or fast-paced guest service environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary hospitality concierge and on-site point of contact for guests within the VIP club or premium hospitality space.
• Monitor guest experience and identify opportunities to improve service, presentation, cleanliness, and hospitality standards.
• Provide front-line guest recovery and resolve concerns, escalating issues to management when needed.
• Oversee operation of bartenders, servers, and service personnel to ensure coverage and adherence to standards.
• Monitor food & beverage operations, product availability, presentation, and service levels.
• Liaise between Hospitality Services, Aramark, Legends Global, Ticketing and Security to communicate needs and resolve issues.
• Conduct routine VIP club walkthroughs to identify operational concerns and maintain standards.
• Assist with pre-event preparation and coordination with F&B staff.
• Monitor guest traffic and service demand to support efficient service.
• Document operational issues, guest feedback and post-event observations.
• Support VIP hospitality needs with professionalism and discretion.
• Perform other duties and event-related projects as assigned.
