Job summary

Altitude Aerospace in the Seattle, WA area is seeking a wiring design engineer for VIP aircraft interiors. You will create wire diagrams and wire kits for electrical systems on active completion programs, ensuring each design is certifiable and ready for certification.

You’ll learn a proprietary CAD tool (training provided), collaborate with engineering leads and other disciplines, and contribute to bespoke, wide-body programs that set the standard in the industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of aircraft electrical systems or wire harness design experience.
• Senior level: 7+ years.
• Experience creating wire diagrams with an electrical CAD tool such as AutoCAD Electrical.
• Working knowledge of aircraft wiring standards and certification documentation.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and able to perform this work within the United States.
• Able to work onsite in the Seattle, WA area.

Responsibilities

• Create wire diagrams and wire kits for aircraft electrical systems on VIP interiors.
• Ensure designs are certifiable for the program.
• Learn and use a proprietary electrical design tool with train up time provided.
• Work closely with engineering leads and other disciplines as designs integrate.
