Job summary

Altitude Aerospace is seeking a Mechanical Systems Engineer for on-site work in the Seattle area. You will design environmental control, water and waste, and oxygen systems for VIP aircraft programs, shaping early concepts and moving toward final drawings.

Mid and Senior levels are available, with leadership responsibilities at senior levels. We value cross-functional collaboration, clear communication, and hands-on design using Autodesk Inventor, Vault, and PLM 360.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 3+ years mechanical systems design for mid level; 7+ for senior level with leadership experience.
• Aircraft mechanical systems experience preferred or transferable hydraulics/ECS experience.
• 3D CAD experience; Inventor a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mid Level: Create drawings and schematics for ECS, water and waste, and oxygen systems; take designs to finished drawings.
• Senior Level: Lead system design, coordinate with other teams, mentor junior engineers.
• All Levels: Collaborate cross-functionally; communicate assumptions; use Autodesk Inventor, Vault, and PLM 360.
