Job summary

Comlux America in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a Wire Fabrication Technician to fabricate wire harnesses and subassemblies for VIP aircraft completions. You will read engineering drawings and material specs to ensure parts meet design standards and customer expectations, while maintaining compliance with RSQM and FAA requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; trade school preferred.
• Basic knowledge of fabrication processes in aviation.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate high-quality wire harnesses and subassemblies per approved procedures.
• Interpret material specs and drawings to meet design specs and quality standards.
• Request materials using approved docs to maintain workflow.
• Follow RSQM and FAA-related documentation and signoffs.
• Follow department safety guidelines and proper tool use.
• Maintain basic knowledge of installation procedures, process specs, IOPs, and related docs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
