Qualifications

• Advanced degree in music or commensurate professional experience.
• Strong studio teaching and chamber music coaching preferred.
• Experience directing a chamber music program and recruiting ensembles.
• Notable career in string quartet performance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide studio instruction to undergraduate and graduate violinists or violists.
• Mentor and advise graduate students and recruit outstanding players.
• Lead and coordinate Chamber Music Activities with coordinators across woodwinds, brass, and piano.
• Oversee string faculty coaches, repertoire selection, and chamber group formations.
• Coordinate guest artist events and partnerships with other institutions.
