Job summary

Headliner Music Academy in Rocklin is seeking an enthusiastic Violin Teacher to join our growing team. You will provide engaging private and semi-private lessons, using our curriculum, and help students develop technique and musical expression.

This part-time, flexible position offers a supportive environment and opportunities to perform with students, coordinate with parents, and contribute to events while building a lifelong love of music.

Qualifications

• Must clearly communicate musical concepts to students.
• Advanced understanding of music theory and technique relevant to violin.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse personalities.
• Experience teaching youth or beginning musicians.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach private and semi-private lessons using our own curriculum and cover song arrangements.
• Create an encouraging, fun, and focused lesson atmosphere.
• Help students set goals and track their musical progress.
• Assess students' readiness to participate in bands, ensembles, or other performance opportunities.
• Assist at school events.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and academy staff.
