Job summary

Lawrenceville-Suwanee School of Music (LSSM) is seeking a passionate violin instructor to take over an established studio of active string students with immediate teaching opportunities. The position is in-person and can be filled as full-time or part-time across our Lawrenceville, Snellville, or Suwanee locations.

The role involves teaching a range of ages and abilities, building strong relationships with students and families, and contributing to a supportive, professional music community.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching violin to students of varying ages is preferred.
• Ability to teach beginner through advanced levels.
• Strong communication with students and parents required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized violin instruction to students of various ages and skill levels
• Develop engaging lessons based on each student’s goals and abilities
• Teach proper technique, musicianship, and music theory fundamentals
• Track student progress and communicate with parents as appropriate
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and performances
• Create a positive, encouraging, and structured learning environment
• Collaborate with faculty and staff for ensembles, recitals, and school events

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized violin instruction to students of various ages and skill levels
