Lawrenceville-Suwanee School of Music is seeking a passionate Cello Instructor to join our growing music community in Snellville, GA. The role involves teaching cello to students of various ages, developing customized lesson plans, and preparing students for recitals and exams while collaborating with school staff.

Candidates should have formal cello training or equivalent experience, teaching ability across all skill levels, and a strong background in music theory and repertoire.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in cello performance with formal training or equivalent professional experience.
• Prior teaching experience in cello or classical string instruction preferred.
• Ability to teach students across all levels, from beginner to advanced.
• Strong knowledge of music theory, classical repertoire, and various teaching methodologies (Suzuki, traditional, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students and families.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
• Bachelor's degree in Music or related field preferred but not required.
