Job summary

The Aluminum Company of North Carolina is seeking a dedicated field technician to join our Vinyl Siding Installation Crew. This contractor, field-based role, involves hands-on exterior remodeling tasks and daily scheduling with customers.

You will install vinyl siding, trim, fascia, and related components, using metal brakes and power tools. A valid NC driver's license and a clean driving record are required, along with the ability to lift 75 lbs and work in varied outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• A valid NC Driver's License.
• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• A clean driving record to operate a company vehicle.
• The ability to regularly lift 75 lbs., carry an extension ladder, and work in varied field environments.
• OSHA training is a plus.
• Experience in exterior remodeling trades updating siding, windows, or doors.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily exterior remodeling tasks on-site as part of a Vinyl Siding Installation Crew.
• Install vinyl siding and related components (fascia, trim, door casings) using appropriate tools.
• Manage daily schedule and customer appointments with strong communication.
• Operate hand and power tools, ladders, and staging equipment safely.
• Collaborate with customers, project managers and field staff to ensure quality workmanship.
