Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a saw operator to accurately cut vinyl profiles and assemble window units on the 1st shift in North Brunswick, NJ. The role requires precise measurements, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work with hand tools and welding equipment.

You will rotate through stations, maintain clean work areas, and collaborate with teammates to optimize production.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and stand for duration of entire shift.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and measuring tape.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Be able to recognize material by shape and color.

Responsibilities

• Operation of various hand tools to manually construct window units.
• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials based on specifications.
• Ensure high-quality welds to meet production standards.
• Operate welding machines to fabricate and assemble window frames using various welding techniques.
• Ensure accurate measurements and alignment during the welding process.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures and regulations (5S / PPE / LOTO).
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and efficiency.
• Work in other areas where required.
