Job summary

The Sunliner Diner in Gulf Shores, Alabama, is hiring a friendly Server to coordinate their station and work with front- and back-of-house staff to ensure a dining experience that meets guest expectations.

You will observe guests, answer questions, educate them about the menu and specials, handle check totals and payments, assist other staff as needed, and demonstrate teamwork. This is a full-time role based in our Gulf Shores location with tip earnings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to demonstrate a sense of teamwork and cooperation within the restaurant organization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the server station and communicating with front- and back-of-house staff to meet or exceed guest expectations.
• Observe diners to ensure guest satisfaction with food and service; respond to requests and determine when the meal is complete.
• Educate guests about The Sunliner Diner, the menu, and specials.
• Obtain check totals and accept payment.
• May assist bus person, host/hostess, or expo with duties.
• Must be able to demonstrate a sense of teamwork and cooperation within the restaurant organization.
