Job summary

To ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of all Team Village areas of the resort on a daily basis, in line with resort standards to ensure the entire staff accommodation and public areas allocated for Team are well maintained.

Job Description

• Carrying out all tasks in line with resort procedures and standards and product specifications.
• To clean and maintain to the highest standards the entire Team Village of the resort, including accommodation area, Dream Cafe, Recreation Area & Training Room and walkways.
• Ensuring all simple maintenance in team accommodations are done or checked, and kept in excellent condition at all times.
• Checking of your daily work sheet at the beginning of each shift for important messages, and recording relevant information on your work sheet during your shift.
• Ensuring your chemical kit contains all the necessary chemical supplies and cleaning equipment required to clean the area.
• Ensuring dirty rubbish is disposed of appropriately at the completion of your shift and within environmental guidelines.
• Returning relevant items to Restaurant and Bar and other departments if found in Team areas.
• Ensuring all checklists are completed correctly on a daily basis and returned to the Human Resources office.
• Ensure all keys signed out in your name are used by yourself only and kept secure at all times when signed out. At the completion of your shift, the keys are returned to Human Resources and signed in.
• Advise Supervisor or Manager of any maintenance requirements and follow through, complete a maintenance request form and pass it onto the Engineering Department for the work to be done.
• Immediately reporting any lost property in accordance with resort policy.
• Appearing neat in appearance, well groomed and wearing the correct uniform as per the Resort Standard.
• Complying with Resort Safety & Environment policies, initiatives and legislation.
• Abiding by all Work Place Health, Safety and Hygiene regulations at all times.
• Adhering to the guidelines set out in the Employee Handbook.
• Assisting in any other duties as directed by your Manager or Supervisor.
