Allegria Village, a secure senior living community in Dearborn, is looking for a gatehouse attendant to join our team.

Shift: This is aContingent position; meaning you will only be needed 2 weekends per month for a total of 32-hours per month. Day or afternoon shift available.


Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for logging of visitors, residents, and employees.
- Directs traffic on campus property.
- Completes Daily Rounds Reports.
- Daily rounds of the building and grounds.
- Continuous patrols of property and facilities.
- Completes Incident Reports (regarding medical response calls, theft of
property, accidents, fires, serious mechanical malfunctions, emergency
response, and violations of rules and regulations).
- Responds to medical emergencies.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by management to ensure the
effective and efficient operation of the Community.
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Three (3) years job related experience

• First Aid Certification Preferred
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• As applicable, basic proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook and Excel) with the ability to learn new applications
• Competent in organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgement, decision making, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently or as a team
• Ability to solve problems as they arise
• Attention to details
• Ability to react appropriately in stressful situations

• Must have a valid Driver's License (necessary to operate our patrol vehicle while on duty).

Education/Certification:
• High school diploma or GED
