Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas is seeking a Villa Operations Manager to oversee daily villa operations, lead and develop a high-performing team, and ensure every guest experience reflects SHOW Service Basics. This role drives operational and financial success in a world-class luxury environment.

You will partner with Culinary and other departments to deliver exceptional service, cultivate a culture of excellence, and guide strategic plans and annual goals with the Director.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior relevant supervisory experience at a major hotel/resort.
• Three years of prior relevant experience in Food and Beverage, Hotels Operations and/or Guest Services at major hotel.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Villa, Villa Prive, Baccarat, and in-villa F&B operations, including meal services, wine and liquor selection, and inventory control.
• Assist with planning and execution of private functions within the Villas, Presidential Suites, and Chairman Suites, including menu selection, pricing, and event staffing.
• Develop collaborative relationships with Casino Marketing, Luxury Experience, Convention Sales & Services, Facilities, Security, Housekeeping, Front Services, Sky Pool, Front Office, F&B, and Executive Offices.
• Partner with Culinary team on development and implementation of offerings, menu presentations, and menu education for the Butler team.
• Work with Director to develop, execute, and measure strategic plans and annual operating goals, including revenue growth and cost containment.
• Educate departmental leadership on goals and ensure team commitment to drive departmental success.
• Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, succession planning, discipline, terminations, and other employee status changes while supporting diversity commitments.

The Day-to-day

• Oversee daily Villa, Villa Prive, Baccarat, and in‑villa Food & Beverage operations, including meal services, wine and liquor selection, and inventory control
• Assist with planning and execution of private functions within the Villas, Presidential Suites, and Chairman Suites, including menu selection, pricing, and event staffing
• Develop collaborative relationships with support departments including Casino Marketing, Luxury Experience, Convention Sales & Services, Facilities, Security, Housekeeping, Front Services, Sky Pool, Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Executive Offices to ensure seamless operations and guest experiences
• Partner with the Culinary team on the development and implementation of offerings, menu presentations, and menu education for the Butler team
• Work closely with the Director to develop, execute, and measure strategic plans and annual operating goals, including revenue growth opportunities, cost containment initiatives, and budget variance justifications
• Educate departmental leadership on departmental goals and ensure team commitment and support to drive departmental success
• Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, succession planning, discipline, terminations, and other employee status changes while supporting the Company’s diversity commitment

The Ideal Candidate

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Two (2) years of prior relevant supervisory experience at a major hotel/resort
• Three (3) years of prior relevant experience in Food and Beverage, Hotels Operations and/or Guest Services at major hotel
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
