Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in software development teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with JIRA.
• Familiarity with vehicle-based software testing methods.
• MPG Driver's License.
• Must not require GM immigration sponsorship now or in the future, including H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, J-1, or other immigration support.
• Preferred: Knowledge in viewing domain.
• Preferred: 7+ years' experience working in software development teams.
• Preferred: 5 years' experience with algorithmic development, performance tradeoffs, and software parameters.
• Preferred: Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support development, integration, and validation of viewing systems, including rear view camera, surround view, transparent trailer, and curb view
• Interface daily with development teams to evaluate new vehicle and bench features and identify root causes of issues
• Work closely with software and algorithmic development teams
• Support performance teams in viewing-feature tuning
• Support integration activities into various ECUs
• Perform issue triage and root cause analysis
• Serve as a subject matter expert in camera calibration and alignment processes
• Conduct road and staged data collection, including design, build, and execution
• Analyze and review features to ensure the highest possible quality
