Job summary

Askew & Sons in Georgia is seeking a field foreman to lead a paving crew, overseeing daily production, quality, and crew development. You will be hands-on with asphalt operations and coordinate equipment and materials to keep projects on schedule.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to train crew, and accurate reporting; a valid driver's license and clean driving record are required. This is a full-time, on-site position with responsibility for safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on knowledge of asphalt paving operations.
• Ability to operate major asphalt paving equipment.
• Experience training and developing field crew members.
• Ability to calculate tonnage, square yardage and material yield.
• Coordinate trucking, job setup, plant orders, and subcontractors.
• Strong on-site communication and leadership as point of authority.
• Proficient in daily reporting using spreadsheets and basic apps.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

• Coordinate trucking, job setup, asphalt plant orders and subcontractors, including striping and traffic control.
• Communicate clearly with the crew and lead effectively as the on-site point of authority.
• Use spreadsheets and other basic computer applications for daily reporting.
• Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
