Salary: $22 - $25 per hour

About us:

We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and passionate individual to join our healthcare team as a Vietnamese Speaking Medical Receptionist. This role is ideal for someone bilingual in English and Vietnamese, with healthcare experience and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) software. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for Vietnamese-speaking patients, providing excellent customer service and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

1. Greet patients warmly and ensure their comfort during their visit.
2. Handle calls, emails, schedule appointments, and manage inquiries professionally.
3. Use EMR software to input patient data, medical histories, and track interactions.
4. Provide interpretation services between patients and providers for clear communication.
5. Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
6. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth operations.
7. Assist with patient education and provide resources in Vietnamese as needed.
8. Perform administrative tasks such as billing, filing, and supply management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare administration degree preferred.
• At least two years of medical receptionist experience; healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Fluent in English and Vietnamese, with strong communication skills.
• Proficient in EMR software.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
• Professional demeanor with a positive attitude.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
