Job summary

ATS in Reston, VA seeks an Expert Vietnamese Instructor to support a government agency with language instruction, translation, transcription, and interpretation services.

The role requires 5 years of adult instruction experience and a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; a bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or Language is preferred. The position includes teaching duties and lesson development, assessment, and testing.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or Language preferred.
• Language Instruction/Facilitation.
• Language Testing.
• Course Design.
• Editing and Quality Control of language products.
• Summarizing/Gisting drawing on linguistic or cultural expertise.
• Writing Reports.

Responsibilities

• Teach about 20 hours per week and devote ~20 hours to lesson development, student assessment and testing.
• Work under the direction of senior trained instructors.
• Complete sponsor training to become certified according to Sponsor standards.
