Job summary

Language Services Associates is seeking Vietnamese interpreters to join its network in the Kingwood, TX area. As an Independently Contracted Interpreter, you will facilitate communication for LEP communities across a variety of settings. LSAs flexible assignment model offers ongoing opportunities across varied environments.

Qualified candidates are fluent in English and Vietnamese, with strong client service skills. Prior interpreting experience and industry certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Vietnamese.
• Ability to provide a high level of client service.
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner

As a member of LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will be responsible for facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings. LSA is continuously accepting qualified interpreters for a wide range of interpreting assignments!
