Job summary

Language Services Associates in Kingwood, TX is seeking Vietnamese interpreters on a contract basis to support LEP communities across diverse settings. You will work as part of LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters to facilitate timely, accurate communication for clients in need.

Ideal candidates are fluent in English and Vietnamese, with at least 1 year of interpreting experience and any relevant certifications (CMI, CCHI).

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
• 1+ year professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry certifications (CMI, CCHI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner
• Access to personal or public transport
