Job summary

Rapport International seeks qualified in-person interpreters to serve our Nebraska clients. We require bilingual applicants with healthcare terminology familiarity and solid confidentiality practices.

This independent contractor role offers flexible hours, with PRN scheduling and daytime availability, plus transportation to appointments. Vaccination proof is requested for client compliance; languages spoken should be listed in the resume.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual required.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality/HIPAA compliance.
• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred.
• In-person interpreters only; transportation to attend appointments locally required.
• Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers).
• Must have access to a printer.
• Background checks and drug screens required.
• PRN schedule; part-time (or less depending on languages) with M-F 7AM-5PM availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person interpretation for local Nebraska clients.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA-compliant handling of information.
• Support clients with medical terminology during interpretations.
• Coordinate via the online portal and print/upload vouchers as needed.

As a busy interpreting service provider, we are seeking to onboard hard-working, fully-bilingual foreign language interpreters to provide in-person interpretation for our local Nebraska clients. Requirements

• We are looking for IN PERSON interpreters only, you must have transportation to attend appointments locally
• Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)

• Schedule is PRN (as needed), part time (or less depending on languages spoken) and is flexible based on interpreter's availability and preferences. However, applicants must have some availability M-F 7AM-5PM as this is when services are typically needed.
