OVERVIEW

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

We are looking for English into Vietnamese translators to join our growing team for one of our global clients, a music streaming company offering services such as music streaming and podcasts. They will take ownership of incoming work on this account and actively contribute to the success of the program.

Project Details:

Job Title: English into Vietnamese Creative UI and Marketing Senior Translator/Reviewer

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Remote (based in US or Canada)

Task Type: Translation, Copy Edit

Estimated work volumes: 15 hours/week

Employment Type: Freelance

MAIN DUTIES

• Translate and review content from English into Vietnamese, ensuring the original meaning is conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to the target audience.
• Content types include: Informational, Legal, Marketing, Product, Support
• Work with Smartling CAT tool.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Minimum 3 years' experience translating and reviewing content in the specified subject matter.
• Proficient in marketing, product, legal, and informational content.
• Well-versed in translation & terminology tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in Vietnamese.
• Native fluency in the target language.
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
• Able to follow instructions, e.g., character restrictions.
• Effective communicator of transcreation rationale.
• Knowledge of UI, customer support, and creative content such as synopses and episodic titles.
