Main Purpose of the Job

We are seeking English into Vietnamese translators to join our growing team for a global client, a music streaming company offering services such as music streaming and podcasts. The selected candidates will take ownership of incoming work on this account and contribute actively to the program's success.

Project Details

• Job Title: English into Vietnamese Creative UI and Marketing Senior Translator/Reviewer
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Remote (based in US or Canada)
• Task Type: Translation, Copy Editing
• Estimated Work Volumes: 15 hours/week
• Employment Type: Freelance

Main Duties

• Translate and review content from English into Vietnamese, ensuring the original meaning is conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to the target audience.
• Content types include: Informational, Legal, Marketing, Product, Support.
• Use CAT tools, specifically Smartling.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years' experience translating and reviewing content in the specified subject matter.
• Proficiency in marketing, product, legal, and informational content areas.
• Well-versed in translation and terminology tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Some proficiency in Vietnamese.
• Native fluency in the target language.
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to follow instructions, such as character restrictions.
• Effective communication of transcreation rationale.
• Knowledge of UI, customer service, and creative content such as synopses and episodic titles.
