Job description

Overview

Force Media is hiring a Videographer/Editor to create high-performing short-form and long-form video content for our clients’ social channels. This is an entry-to-mid-level role designed for someone who is hungry, ambitious and eager to grow in a rapidly changing industry. This role is full-time, in the office in Norcross, GA.

Roughly 80% of your work will focus on social-first video content—capturing, editing, and producing engaging reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and other digital-first formats. The remaining time will be spent on additional video and creative projects such as brand videos, in-studio shoots, and client campaigns.

Important: This is not a filmmaker role. We are not looking for aspiring directors or people chasing film credits. This role is for a marketer who loves video, understands social media, and knows how to make content that drives results.

This isn’t the job for someone who just wants to “film pretty videos.” This is the role for a creator who understands storytelling, pacing, and platform-native content that performs. If you’re ready to learn, adapt, and stand out—we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and ads.

  • Be proactive in spotting new trends and suggesting creative ways to apply them to client content.

  • Edit short-form videos with strong storytelling, pacing, and trends in mind.

  • Film on-site, in-studio, and at client locations.

  • Add graphics, text overlays, animations, and effects to enhance storytelling.

  • Ensure brand consistency across all video projects.

  • Collaborate with the creative team to align content with marketing goals.

  • Optimize videos for different platforms, aspect ratios, and audiences.

  • Manage project timelines and meet deadlines efficiently.

  • Stay updated on video trends and best practices.

  • Editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

  • Other creative/design projects like simple graphic design using Canva or a related software.

  • Communicating with clients and internal team members.

These responsibilities are a summary of the majority of this role’s required tasks, but are not an exhaustive list. Additional responsibilities relating to the creative department and adjacent departments may be required.

Compensation

Salary: $48,000 - $54,000 per year

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2-4 years of consistent experience.

  • Ability to shoot on Canon camera system, iPhone and Drone.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve and other editing tools.

  • Understanding of social media trends, storytelling, and what makes content perform online.

  • Experience with color correction and sound design.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects and adapt to different brand styles.

  • Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to write compelling scripts and capture the vision of projects in pre-production.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.

  • Actively engaged in staying up to date on current and best-performing practices.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Google Drive, Sheets, etc.

Application Requirements

  • Resume

  • Portfolio or demo reel (link on resume or email to social@forcemedia.me)

NOTICE: Please include a link to a portfolio or demo reel with your application. Applications without a portfolio or demo reel will not be considered until one is provided.

Eligible candidates may be required to complete a paid test project to assess editing skills.

Additional Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of Photoshop and Canva.

  • Must be fluent in English.
