Visual Arts Department | Adapting Social
Bring Stories to Life With Us
At Adapting Social, we believe great work starts with great people. We’re a creative, collaborative team that works hard, has fun, and is committed to helping our clients grow.
Our motto, #RespectTheHustle, reflects how we show up every day: bring the energy, support your teammates, take pride in your work, and always look for ways to make an impact.
We’re looking for a talented, high-energy Videographer who understands the power of visual storytelling and knows how to turn ideas into engaging content across multiple platforms.
If you’re creative, curious, organized, and comfortable taking a project from concept to completion, we’d love to meet you.
About The Role
As a Videographer at Adapting Social, you’ll be part of our Visual Arts Department, creating compelling video and photo content for a variety of brands and industries.
You’ll collaborate closely with Account Managers, creatives, editors, and clients to develop content that is visually strong, strategically aligned, and built to perform.
This is a hands-on, interactive role that requires someone who can brainstorm ideas, manage multiple projects, work independently, and move quickly without sacrificing quality.
You’ll be responsible for bringing creative concepts to life—from the initial idea and storyboard through production, editing, and final delivery.
What You’ll Do
Creative Development & Storytelling
- Conceptualize creative ideas and storytelling angles for short-form and long-form content.
- Develop scripts, storyboards, shot lists, and production plans.
- Create content that reflects each client’s brand voice, goals, and audience.
- Use trends, platform best practices, and performance data to inform creative recommendations.
- Develop engaging narratives using interviews, testimonials, voiceovers, music, graphics, b-roll, text, and special effects.
- Create compelling how-to, promotional, educational, and social media videos.
Production
- Manage all phases of production, including pre-production, filming, and post-production.
- Capture high-quality video, photography, interviews, product footage, and b-roll.
- Conduct documentary-style and on-camera interviews with clients, customers, and brand representatives.
- Identify shoot locations, coordinate logistics, and ensure all necessary assets are captured.
- Work with Account Managers and internal teams to execute successful client shoots.
- Travel to client locations as needed to film, photograph, and gather content.
Editing & Delivery
- Edit short-form videos ranging from approximately 30 seconds to 3 minutes.
- Produce longer-form content, including training videos and educational materials.
- Edit content using Adobe Premiere and other applicable creative tools.
- Incorporate graphics, music, transitions, text, voiceovers, and visual effects.
- Collaborate with editors and provide feedback throughout the editing process.
- Ensure all final deliverables meet company and client quality standards.
- Deliver content optimized for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other digital channels.
A Typical Day May Include
- Brainstorming new creative concepts with the marketing and creative teams.
- Reviewing client goals, content needs, and performance data.
- Planning an upcoming production or traveling to a client shoot.
- Filming product content, interviews, testimonials, or social media assets.
- Editing video and photo content for multiple platforms.
- Reviewing edits and collaborating with internal team members.
- Recommending new creative approaches based on trends and results.
- Managing multiple projects, deadlines, and client priorities.
No two days will look exactly the same—and that’s part of the fun.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in an agency, startup, production, or creative environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere.
- Hands-on experience with both video production and photography.
- Demonstrated experience creating product photography and product video.
- A strong understanding of visual composition, layout, branding, color theory, and typography.
- Strong conceptual thinking and storytelling skills.
- Experience creating both short-form and long-form video content.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent organization, time management, and project management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
- Comfortable receiving feedback, taking direction, and making improvements.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
