This role collaborates across APH’s internal agency team, Dot 6, and with other internal partners to plan, capture, edit and deliver high-quality video, photography and other multimedia assets for marketing, educational, fundraising and organizational communications. Additionally, it serves as a creative partner throughout the development process by contributing ideas, identifying opportunities for visual storytelling and helping transform complex information into engaging, accessible content.

About The Role
The Videographer-Producer is responsible for producing compelling multimedia content that advances APH’s mission, strengthens its brand and connects audiences with the organization’s products, services and experiences. This role collaborates across APH’s internal agency team, Dot 6, and with other internal partners to plan, capture, edit and deliver high-quality video, photography and other multimedia assets for marketing, educational, fundraising and organizational communications. Additionally, it serves as a creative partner throughout the development process by contributing ideas, identifying opportunities for visual storytelling and helping transform complex information into engaging, accessible content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, produce, shoot, edit, and deliver multimedia content, including promotional and educational videos, product demonstrations, interviews, event and museum coverage, photography, and brand storytelling.
  • Collaborate with creative and communications staff, project managers, and subject matter experts to develop compelling concepts and visual approaches that support accessibility, organizational goals, and APH’s brand. Participate in brainstorming and proactively identify creative opportunities.
  • Capture professional-quality video and photography in studio and on location using appropriate cameras, lighting, audio, and production equipment. Edit content using Adobe Premiere Pro and Creative Cloud, including color correction, sound mixing, motion graphics, captions, and multiple delivery formats.
  • Create motion graphics, animations, and other digital assets for campaigns and organizational initiatives. Partner with graphic designers to ensure multimedia assets align with campaign strategies and brand standards.
  • Ensure multimedia content meets APH accessibility standards, including requirements for captioning, transcripts, audio, and other accessibility considerations.
  • Maintain organized project files, digital assets, equipment, and archives in accordance with department standards. Stay current with multimedia trends, emerging technologies, production techniques, and AI-enabled creative tools.
  • Support photography and video coverage for events, conferences, customer stories, and special projects. Coordinate with external vendors, freelancers, and production partners as needed.
