About The Role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Videographer to join the Social Media Team at Gap. This individual will be responsible for creating high-quality video content that resonates with our audience across various social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.). The Videographer will collaborate closely with the social marketing and creative teams to increase our content output, ensuring alignment with the brand's voice and vision.

What You'll Do

  • Content Creation: Capture and produce engaging, on-brand video content for organic social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other emerging platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside the social marketing team to understand campaign objectives, key messaging, and target audiences to produce content that drives engagement and aligns with brand goals.
  • Creative Direction: Partner with the creative team to conceptualize, storyboard, and execute visually stunning and impactful videos. Ensure the content is visually aligned with Gap's overall brand ethos and values.
  • Video Editing: Edit raw footage into final content, incorporating graphics, sound, and effects to create dynamic, polished videos optimized for social media platforms.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with current social media trends and video best practices, integrating them into content creation to keep Gap's social media presence fresh and relevant.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high production standards and ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines and technical specifications for each platform.

Who You Are

  • Proven experience as a videographer, preferably within a social media, marketing, or creative agency environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing video work across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).
  • Proficient with video production tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and editing software.
  • Understanding of social media trends, formats, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Agility to get input and be briefed on different projects and have the ability to prioritize and work with the team on clear deliverables.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with video lighting, sound, and camera equipment.
  • Knowledge of current social media platforms, algorithm trends, and best practices for video content.
  • A passion for fashion, trends, and digital media.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with influencers, talent, or brand ambassadors for content creation.
  • Familiarity with live streaming and behind-the-scenes video content creation.
  • Content Optimization: Ensure videos are formatted and optimized for performance, with the right aspect ratios, captions, and visual appeal to maximize engagement across social platforms.
  • Analytics & Feedback: Collaborate with the social marketing team to monitor the performance of video content, providing insights and adjusting strategy for future content creation based on engagement metrics.
  • Brand Storytelling: Bring Gap's brand to life through authentic, engaging, and creative storytelling, enhancing our connection with followers and inspiring brand loyalty.

Salary Range: $114,900 - $152,200 USD

Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
