Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned, highly autonomous Videographer & Video Editor to take video projects from initial concept to final polish. This is a contract position for a professional who can hit the ground running, anage their own shoots, and collaborate directly with our brand managers to bring compelling stories to life. If you are a visual storyteller who is equally comfortable behind the camera, directing talent, and crafting motion graphics in post-production, we want to hear from you.
Typical Assignments
- You will be responsible for producing a wide variety of video assets, including but not limited to:
- Corporate & Brand Storytelling: Testimonial videos and interview-driven pieces.
- Product Content: Overview videos and detailed training/educational content.
- Social & Marketing: Dynamic social media content and high-energy event sizzle reels/recaps.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Production: Plan, script/storyboard, shoot, direct, edit, and deliver high-quality video projects with minimal supervision.
- Animation & Motion Graphics: created animated video creation that doesn't require filmed content.
- Brand Collaboration: Partner closely with brand strategy and creative teams to ensure the visual style and narrative align with brand guidelines and campaign goals.
- Talent Direction: Comfortably direct both professional talent and internal team members on camera to get natural, engaging performances.
- Post-Production & Graphics: Execute full video edits, including sound design, color grading, and asset creation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience & Autonomy
- 5-10 years of professional experience in video production and editing.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage timelines, and solve problems on set autonomously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Technical & Equipment Requirements
- Camera Systems: Deep operational knowledge of the Canon ecosystem (specifically C300, 5D, and R-series). Note: While we accept experience with other brands like Sony or Nikon, our pipeline utilizes Canon equipment.
- Software Proficiency: Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite, with expert-level skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
- Graphic Design: Solid graphic design skills are required, as you will need to independently create the titles, overlays, and graphical assets that go into the final video.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-haves, not required)
- FAA Part 107 Drone Certification for commercial drone operations.
- Familiarity with Blackmagic Design and GoPro camera systems.
- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve for editing or color grading.
