Job summary

Solotech is seeking a Video Workshop Technician to prepare and scan equipment, return items to inventory, and assemble transport cases for outbound shipments. The role involves coordinating with the manager to prioritize orders, customizing gear per customer specifications, and ensuring all accessories are included.

The candidate should have at least 1 year in a video equipment workshop or live events, knowledge of racks, camera calibration, and basic IP networks, and must be comfortable working

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a video equipment workshop or on live events.
• Knowledge of racks, camera calibration, and basic IP networks.
• Able to solve problems, be thorough, and work well with clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and scan equipment, and return to inventory.
• Collaborate with manager to prioritize orders and prepare complex orders.
• Check equipment lists, customize gear per order, and ensure packaging/boxing.
• Run programming and setup according to standards and customer needs.
• Maintain clean, organized sections and report breakages to the manager.
• Operate in warehouse environment with flexible hours and 40-hour weeks.
