Job summary

Creative Technology Group is seeking a Lead Shop Technician-Video Engineer to join our warehouse team. You will prepare, test, and configure professional video and broadcast equipment for live events and rental orders.

You will build Ross Ultrix fly packs, verify signal paths, and work closely with engineering and operations to ensure gear is ready for showtime and travels smoothly to on-site productions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in live events, broadcast, AV or related tech environment.
• Experience testing, configuring, troubleshooting, and preparing professional video equipment.
• Associate degree preferred in broadcast/AV or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Quality control inspections and functional testing of video and broadcast gear.
• Prepare, configure, test, and package equipment for productions and rentals.
• Build and test Ross Ultrix fly packs and routing systems.
• Test camera packages, lenses, viewfinders, recorders, and accessories.
• Verify video signal paths, routing, conversion, monitoring, and distribution.
• Troubleshoot issues and identify root causes before shipping from warehouse.
