The Walt Disney Company in Lake Buena Vista, FL seeks an Audio/Video Engineer-Project Hire to design and support professional A/V systems for new builds and existing facilities. You will develop design requirements, configure hardware/software, and provide on-site support to ensure reliable operation of CCTV, VMS, and analytics solutions.

The role focuses on CCTV, VMS platforms, and video analytics, with on-site responsibilities and coordination with security and network teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in design and implementation of professional A/V systems in themed entertainment or industrial settings.
• Deep knowledge of video technologies, CCTV, video servers, displays, analytics and related systems.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end A/V system design and installation principles.
• Familiarity with digital video technologies and low-voltage applications.
• Hands-on testing and debugging of A/V and control systems hardware/software.
• Ability to coordinate with system integrators, contractors and project teams throughout a project lifecycle.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks to successfully complete project assignments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and team collaboration tools.

Responsabilités

• Create, develop, document, commission, and release video system designs for Disney attractions and facilities.
• Provide investigation and resolution support for existing systems in parks and resorts.
• Design and develop hardware detail drawings and system schematics.
• Manage video scope of work from concept through installation, testing, and acceptance.
• Provide end-user interfaces for maintenance teams to monitor health of A/V systems.
• Adapt to variable shifts with evening hours as needed by business needs.
