You will lead video production from concept through execution, collaborate with editorial teams, monitor TikTok and Instagram trends, and manage publishing calendars while shaping social strategy across platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in social media, social video production, or digital content creation.
• Proven success with viral short-form video on TikTok/Instagram Reels.
• Experience shooting, editing, and producing in a professional media setting.
• Strong copywriting for captions and headlines.
• Familiar with social publishing tools and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Create original, social-first video franchises for Cosmopolitan and Seventeen.
• Lead video production from concept through execution and publishing.
• Identify stories and pitch creative concepts inspired by pop culture trends.
• Monitor TikTok and Instagram trends and develop timely content.
• Develop and execute video strategy across TikTok and Reels in partnership with leadership.
• Capture behind-the-scenes content at events and editorial shoots.
• Manage social media calendars for timely publishing.
• Analyze performance and audience data to optimize strategy.
