NBCUniversal's CT LIVE is seeking a part-time student intern to support video production and social media tasks. You will schedule interviews, pitch ideas, shoot video on-site, edit segments for broadcast, and manage social posts from the station in West Hartford, CT.

The ideal candidate is enrolled in a degree program, with junior standing or higher, and proficient in MS Office and basic video editing. Willingness to work evenings/weekends and in-person at the station is required.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a degree program during the length of the internship.
• Current class standing of junior or above (30 credits).

Responsabilités

• Schedule interviews with local businesses and community leaders alongside CT LIVE producer.
• Pitch content ideas for segments.
• Shoot video during on-location shoots.
• Edit segments for broadcast.
• Post to CT LIVE’s social accounts.
