Job summary

NBC Connecticut seeks a Multiplatform Content Creator / Multimedia Journalist to join the CT Live team. You will craft digital-first, on-air stories and extend storytelling across broadcast, streaming, and social platforms.

As part of CT Live, you will pitch ideas, shoot, write, edit, and produce engaging content that strengthens the brand and supports sponsorships while meeting NBCUniversal's editorial standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Broadcast Journalism, Media Production, Digital Media, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience as Multimedia Journalist / Content Creator / Digital Producer or similar role.
• Proficiency in writing, shooting, editing, and producing video content.

Responsibilities

• Create multiplatform lifestyle content for broadcast, streaming, digital, social media, YouTube, and NBCConnecticut.com.
• Develop original content to grow audience, engagement, and sponsorship opportunities.
• Research, shoot, write, edit, and produce premium lifestyle stories featuring CT's people, businesses, and events.
• Develop social-first storytelling and digital-exclusive series and sponsored campaigns.
• Collaborate with executive producers to identify content opportunities across platforms.
• Produce content supporting sponsorships while maintaining NBCUniversal's editorial standards.
• Work with Sales, Marketing, Creative Services, and Digital teams on multiplatform campaigns.
