Job summary

Speedway Motorsports is seeking a Video Production Manager to lead the creation and delivery of high-impact video for in-venue, digital and broadcast platforms. You will oversee live-event shoots, post-production editing, and motion graphics, ensuring content aligns with marketing goals and deadlines.

The role requires 3–5 years of fast-paced video production experience, strong DSLR skills, and the ability to script and manage teams and freelancers across multiple projects and events.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years as video producer, editor in fast-paced environments, preferably sports or marketing.
• Strong camera skills with a cinematic style, primarily using DSLR.
• Creative, resourceful, able to shoot & edit independently with a positive attitude.
• Ability to write scripts for promos, social content, and historical videos.
• Willing to travel to other Speedway Motorsports venues and events.

Responsibilities

• Develop fresh content for social media, network TV, YouTube, in-venue screens and other platforms.
• Capture video during live events, behind-the-scenes and scripted environments.
• Edit high-quality video for online, in-venue and broadcast distribution.
• Produce motion graphics and video graphics to complement campaigns.
• Shoot and produce b-roll packages for local/regional/national media coverage.
• Write scripts for promotions, social content and historical videos.
• Maintain footage inventory for storage, relevance and currency.
• Collaborate with the creative team to support campaigns and projects.
• Stay up-to-date on editing software, trends, motion graphics and animation.
• Export and distribute final files across channels, including ad trafficking.
• Operate a drone and maintain a drone license for production needs.
• Manage internal and/or freelance personnel for events and shoots.
• Provide a showcase of prior work that supports duties.
