These shows come to life across our podcast feeds, in social media programming and on our own platforms.
We are seeking a Video Production and Planning Coordinator to support the expansion of the Shows department. You will help pilot and scale new workflows while keeping complex productions organized, on schedule and clearly communicated.
You are familiar with video or audio production and have a strong interest in an array of topics. You have a sharp eye for detail, can multitask and are able to prioritize to meet and help others hit deadlines. You are digitally savvy, a fast learner and motivated by problem‑solving. Confidentiality, collegiality, collaboration and diplomacy are essential, as is the assertiveness required to help hold teams to deadlines. You will work closely with colleagues across the newsroom, and in conjunction with the video operations team, studio management, programming teams, producers and department leadership.
This is an in‑office position, based in New York City and includes regular attendance in the office four days each week. There may be some flexibility to work remotely per your departmental guidance. Some evening or weekend work may be required as news or production demands.
